High and low temperature test

Introduction:

High and low temperature testing is an environmental test primarily used to determine a product's adaptability and performance under high and low temperature conditions. This test simulates temperature changes in natural environments to evaluate the product's resistance to heat, cold, and dryness. High and low temperature testing typically includes high temperature tests, low temperature tests, and temperature-humidity variation tests.

The purpose of high temperature testing is to assess the sample's adaptability for storage or use under high temperature conditions. The test equipment is usually a high and low temperature (humidity) test chamber, with test conditions generally set to a constant temperature stress and holding time. Common test temperatures include 200°C, 175°C, 155°C, 125°C, 100°C, 85°C, 70°C, and 55°C, while common test durations include 2 hours, 16 hours, 72 hours, and 96 hours.

The purpose of low temperature testing is to assess the sample's adaptability for storage or use under low temperature conditions. The test equipment is also a high and low temperature (humidity) test chamber, with test conditions generally set to a constant temperature stress and holding time. Common test temperatures include -70°C, -55°C, -40°C, -25°C, -15°C, -10°C, and -5°C, while common test durations include 2 hours, 16 hours, 72 hours, and 96 hours.

High and low temperature testing helps identify potential issues with products or materials under extreme temperatures, such as material instability, component failure, or circuit performance degradation, ensuring they operate or function normally, stably, and safely under various conditions.
